Why other Lawyers fail
I have seen a trend among many attorneys and doctors that clearly affect their practices. They think they are the gift of the people and that people should feel joy that they have the "honor" to deal with them. That is very very wrong. My profession has many lawyers who don't understand the concept of Service in their day to day businesses. A law firm is a business. As such, lawyers will strive to be service and customer oriented. If lawyers would stop thinking they are not replaceable and understand the basic concepts of service to the client, our profession would not have a damaged reputation. Same principle applies to doctors. Now, what if this "customer service" point could change? Well, then we would be a better firm. Its not good enough to be the smartest, most knowledgable lawyer. If you cannot get along with your client or you cant have a normal conversation, then your inability to express the complexity of the law will destroy you and get you fired. The ying and the yang, the law and the client. Customer service is king.
